Nestled just behind Avaloch’s main campus resides a beautiful, lush patch of blueberry bushes, lovingly cared for by Avaloch’s founder, Alfred Tauber.

Every year from July to August, Mr. Tauber graciously opens the patch for an unforgettable, self-serve “Pick-Your-Own” blueberry season and donates all proceeds to Avaloch in support of our programming.

The patch is open daily from dawn to dusk, and we welcome folks from near and far to wander the patch, pick some fresh berries, and soak in all that Avaloch has to offer.
