Tanjo & Crow is a no-holds-barred exploration of roots music through eclectic songwriting, Appalachian arrangements, and seemingly fearless improvisation. The project draws upon the diverse musical backgrounds of Tanner Bingaman (guitar, banjo, vocals) and Allan Combs II (guitar, vocals). After the release of their labor-of-love series entitled The Elias Center Sessions, Tanjo & Crow were featured on NPR via WITF Studio. The band is looking at an exciting season of theatre shows, festival sets, and listening-room concerts throughout the Mid-Atlantic region and beyond, with a record release in the making.
Their upcoming EP features songs they recorded at Avaloch Farm Music Institute during their 2024 residency. We are so proud to present them in concert to celebrate the record’s release!
